Race Night DVDs are now available from Eric Vititoe for $15.00 each.  They will be available by the following race. Although we plan to make enough copies each week, we are encouraging everyone to pre-order their copy so we don't run out.  Production is usually finished by Wed or Thurs, so if a customer doesn't want to wait until Saturday (or in some cases 1-2 weeks until the next race) to pick it up, we will mail them out for an additional $2.00 each.  Each DVD contains the entire event - all races from that night.  We currently are accepting cash only, but plan on accepting visa & mastercard if there is no chance of rain (we have to use a laptop to accept credit cards, so rain = no laptop = no credit cards).

Film crews from SuddenLink Media will be on hand for the July 18th race program. Three cameras will catch all of the action from the Opening Ceremonies to the Super Cup Series and all local series in between. The races will be broadcast on SuddenLink Ch. 2 on August 1st and 2nd. The Singing Kernels and The Thundertones will be on hand as our Special Guests for Opening Ceremonies. Mark your calendars and come join us as Ona Speedway races into the history books.

Ona Speedway is looking for some talent of the local variety to be featured in the Opening Ceremonies of each race for the 2009 season. Soloists, bands, groups, quartets, ensembles - whatever you've got, if you want to sing our National Anthem, we'd love to make you our guests. Please contact us as soon as possible. SCSCS To Include Super Mini Cup Tour Division - SCSCS has announced the inclusion of the Super Cup Mini Division which will tour and race in conjunction with the Super Cup Series.  The Super Mini Cup cars will utilize the South East Mini Cup rules and Tim, from EES, will oversee tech.  Race procedures will follow current SCSCS race rules.

Our Survey response has been tremendous, and thank you all for taking the time. The most common issues by far were the need for better restroom facilities and an improved sound system.

Well, plans are now underway for a permanent restroom facility to be located on the Grandstand side of the track near the Handicap Access Deck. The portable toilets found elsewhere around the track will also be stocked with instant hand sanitizer.

We are also working on improving the Public Address system both for the main Grandstand and also the Pit area. Obviously, the safety issues regarding the stands will be addressed before the Season Opener.

The Speedway Staff is working on many smaller projects, but these were the biggest issues identified during this offseason. We hope to make your experience at the Speedway much better for the 2009 season, and again, we appreciate all your feedback.

The Any Car Class has officially been renamed the Street Stock Class. The class will abide by the same rules and structure as before, but adopt a fresh new name. This will take affect at the next sanctioned event on July 12, 2008.

Please be advised that we will have fuel and tires available at the Speedway, but we will not have a parts truck or a tire person to mount them. I advise you to get your tires now so you can be ready for Opening Day.

Our annual Test & Tune will be held on May 3rd 2008

1. $10 per person thru the gate
2. Gates open at 12 noon
3. Pre tech starts at 12:30 pm
4. Practice at 1:00 pm
5. Gates close at 8:00 pm
6. All safety rules will be enforced

Beginning the first week of April, the speedway will be accepting appointments for the track on a first come, first served basis at a rate of $75 per hour - minium of two hours with at least 24 hrs notice. Price is per hour, not per car.

1. Waivers must be signed by everyone.
2. All safety rules apply.
3. No after dark rental...Lights will not be turned on.
4. Two cars may be on the track at one time. No side-by-side or nose-to-tail practicing and no passing.
5. Timing will not be supplied by the speedway.
