If three races cannot be completed, the remainder will be rescheduled as a rainout and rain checks will be honored only with presentation of a wristband from the rained-out event. One admission will be honored per wristband.

CONDUCT
- NO FIGHTING. You may be fined, suspended, and/or prosecuted if you are caught fighting.
- Keep in mind there are children present. Shouting obscenities and other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and will be enforced by Security.
- You must drive at safe speeds in the pits whether it be in cars, on four-wheelers, etc. Penalties will be enforced.
- Do not leave discarded tires in the pits. These must be taken with you or you will be fined $20 per tire.
QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS
- If you wish to dispute a call, have any questions, or other concerns, you must see the PR or Pit Steward. ALL inquiries will be documented and will be delivered to the Race Director and Track Owners, but must follow the proper procedures first.
- Running up to any official and shouting will get you nowhere. We cannot help you if you are not civil with your inquiries. Inappropriate behavior will be dealt with by Security, and bans may be imposed.
- Do not dispute calls with other officials. Violators who come to the back track gate will be escorted from the event.
- All TECH questions should be directed to the tech man.
- The driver shall be the sole spokesperson for their car in all matters pertaining to the event. The driver is responsible for his/her actions as well as their crewmembers’ actions.
RESTRICTED AREAS
Only drivers with their cars are allowed on track, on tech road, or at the back gate. For safety reasons, only track staff may enter this area, unless announced otherwise.
RULES APPLYING TO ALL CLASSES
- You must go through a safety check at TECH each time you race and as requested by track officials. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- TRACTION CONTROL is not allowed. IF CAUGHT USING TRACTION CONTROL, THE CAR AND DRIVER WILL BE BANNED AND PENALIZED WITH A $500 FINE BEFORE THE DRIVER MAY RETURN.
- Goodyear TIRES must be purchased from Ona Speedway. Standard Durameter reading is 56 on 8” tires.
CLAIMS
- In any class that the rules state you must run a Holley 4412 carburetor, there will be a $250 claim rule. You must run in the same class and finish in the top three spots to make a claim. You have until the end of tech for your class to make a claim. You also must swap carburetors.
- Claims are limited to one claim per person, per year, excluding the track.
- All claims will be trade-in nature, part for part, plus the posted amount, excluding the track.
- MANAGEMENT HAS THE RIGHT TO CLAIM ANYTHING, ON ANY CAR, AT ANY TIME. IF YOU REFUSE A CLAIM, YOU CAN BE PENALIZED.
REQUIRED COMMUNICATION DEVICES
RADIOS
- Every division must have at least a radio scanner tuned to the Tower frequency 454.000.
- Two-way radios are allowed, but still must monitor the Tower frequency at all times.
TRANSPONDERS
- All classes must install the units from the center line of the car towards the right (passenger) side. Unit can be no more than 24" from the ground. Transponders should not be placed near exhaust tubing as damage may occur.
- UCARS: Measure from the centerline of the axle, centerline of strut, or bottom centerline of right lower ball joint 48" back. This should place the unit in the interior of the car. A small hole must be made in the floor pan with no metal between unit and ground. The transponder should be as close to the floor as possible or even into the floor of the vehicle.
- Classics, Hobbies, Modifieds: Measurement must be made from centerline of the right front lower ball joint back 26". There should be no metal between the unit and the ground so as not to block the transponder signal.
- Make sure your transponder is charged and in working order prior to each event.
- IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A TRANSPONDER, THEY ARE $15 TO RENT FROM THE PIT STEWARD WITH A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE. Your license will be returned to you when you return the transponder to us.
- If the transponder gets broken or lost while in your custody, you will be charged retail price for the transponder.
OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES
- If you are not in line when PRACTICE for your division begins, you will not get it.
- If your car is not in line waiting to enter the track, you most likely won't make your RACE. If you have a problem with your car, notify the pit steward.
- We cannot wait on you. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. Fans and other drivers are waiting.
- Since this is a racetrack, there will naturally be noise. Depending on where you are at, you cannot depend on hearing every announcement. Watch the board for your lineup. If the pit steward’s lineup is not printed in good time, please alert the Race Director.
FLAGS
- YELLOW FLAG - SLOW DOWN when you see this flag. Yield to all safety personnel.
- RED FLAG - STOP AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- GREEN FLAG - Start or restart of race.
- BLUE FLAG - If you are shown the "Move Over" flag, you must go low, so that faster cars may pass.
- WHITE FLAG - Indicates one lap to go.
- CHECKERED FLAG - End of race. Slow down.
- BLACK FLAG - You MUST pull in. We reserve the right to send you back or disqualify you.
- IF YOU DO NOT HONOR ANY FLAG, YOU RISK GETTING BLACK-FLAGGED.
LINEUPS, START OF RACE, AND RESTARTS
- ALL CLASSES WILL BE INVERTED FROM THE PREVIOUS FINISH. DNF, DNS, and DQ will always start at the bottom, followed with any new entries.
- If a car drops out, the remaining cars move straight forward only. Director has final say on the lineup.
- On the starts, the inside car sets the pace. FLAGMAN STARTS THE RACE.
- Maintain nose-to-tail until green flag is displayed.
- ALL STARTS AND RESTARTS WILL BE DOUBLE-FILE, EXCEPT THE LAST FIVE LAPS. If a caution occurs on the final lap of a race, it will not be restarted.
- If you jump a start, you will be given a warning. Do it again, and you will be put to the tail. Watch yourself on starts. You will not get a third chance.
- On both starts and restarts, passing is allowed on the outside only, until you reach the Start/Finish line. If you pass on the inside before the Start/Finish Line, you will be put to the tail immediately since the race will have to be restarted.
- Listen to the Tower Radio for lineups and watch track workers. If you are not in your position and behind, we will start the race. If you are advanced in your position and refuse to move, you will be disqualified.
- Once a race is complete, only the winner may be interviewed. The remaining cars must leave the track.
- Cars must enter and exit the track straight through the infield road only. The track gate will not open during a race. You must enter the infield pits.
WORKING ON CAR
- YOU CANNOT WORK ON YOUR CAR DURING A RED FLAG. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are caught working on your car during a red flag, you will be disqualified.
- Otherwise during a race, you may use only the infield pits to work on your car. You will go to the tail.
- If track workers must pull something off your car, work on it, or touch it, you will also go to the tail, unless directed otherwise by the Race Director.
- If you enter the infield for any reason, and then re-enter the track, you must go on the tail.
LEAVING CAR ON RACE TRACK
Do not exit your car while on the track, unless told to do so by officials or you are in danger, such as a fire. If for some other reason you exit your car, you will be disqualified.
ROUGH DRIVING
Rough driving will NOT BE TOLERATED. Penalties include black-flagging or disqualification.
SPIN OUTS
Cars involved will go to the tail, unless it is a clear-cut violation of the above as witnessed by two officials. RACE DIRECTOR HAS THE FINAL WORD ON ALL SPINS.
ANY DRIVER BRINGING OUT THREE CAUTIONS IN ONE RACE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
ALL DISQUALIFICATIONS RECEIVE NO POINTS AND NO MONEY. ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL.
